SEGA has revealed that long-standing Sonic collaborator Dimps will be developing Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo 3DS. Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo 3DS contains unique content which isn’t contained in the Wii U version of the game.

Sonic Team’s Takashi Iizuka says that level layouts are entirely different in order “to match the screen size and hardware so players can enjoy both versions with a fresh feeling.” The Nintendo 3DS version also includes an exclusive versus mode for up to four players, and also has a number of  features that can be unlocked by linking up with the Wii U version.
